A says:
I was gonna ask. Oh, I was gonna ask if you remember when we used to work at the hospital. Do you remember when you used to volunteer at the hospital?
B says:
Yeah.
A says:
And I used to volunteer at the hospital, too.
B says:
Yes. At the same time. Yeah.
A says:
What do you remember about volunteering at the hospital?
B says:
What I did at one time in a. A big hospital lounge to get better. And it was just very nice. Yeah, very nice. And then other times, it was just sort of little time.
A says:
Yeah.
B says:
Yeah. But it's very nice.
A says:
Do you remember you used to wear the big pink vest and you would walk, like, a mile to go to the hospital?
B says:
Oh, really? Yes. Right around at the hospital. From the hospital, yeah, you should go. Right. All the way around. And then sometimes they brought us back within a bus, and other times we just sort of got home alone. But it was. It was nice.
A says:
Yeah.
B says:
But we didn't get paid for it at all. We. We sort of got lunch time. It was supplied for lunchtime and me times.
A says:
And a lot of people appreciated your help.
B says:
Yeah. Yeah. And a lot of people wanted to do things for me and not part of the mission, but it was nice. And it was nice people and that. I did a lot. I worked there for quite a long time, and it was nice. Very nice.
A says:
What's one of the things you like about helping people?
B says:
Yes, I think it's nice. And you get very variety. You have different things that come up at any time, and sometimes it's people asking you to get things for them and try and do something that way. But then I think we took another job or something, and I. So we didn't have to have bias. No, we still had a lot of variety, and it was very nice to work there. But you, do you get any remuneration? Did somebody pay you something?
A says:
No, I volunteered as well.
B says:
Oh, do you?
A says:
Well, I did when I was in. In high school.
B says:
Oh, really?
A says:
Yeah. Yeah. So we would go together sometimes.
B says:
Yeah. And a lot of people wanted to do things for you, but you weren't allowed to take any, you know. Oh, we're going to give you some money for this. No, no, no. We couldn't take money for it.
A says:
Right.
B says:
We had to buy it, you know, just buy it all out of the way in one. Bede.
